TUSA Class:
The 70 car of Tony Aguilar had the pole position but didn’t get to hang on to the lead long as he got sideways on the track and the car flipped hard. Although he was okay, his evening of racing was done. On the restart Tyler Hughes led the way but caution flags kept the field close together. The Donnie Ackenbrack car worked his way around Shawn Weber to a second place spot and began to put pressure on Hughes. The two cars raced closely, contact was made as they neared the checkered flag. Hughes was able to hang on to his car and to the lead for the win.

WIN
TUSA Class:
It’s a repeat win for Tyler Hughes in the TUSA’s…. Tyler Hughes made it two TUSA wins in a row. Pole sitter Curt Miles, Jr. took the lead from the start and had pressure from behind by Hughes. Kevin McKinney made big moves taking his machine to the third spot. Tony Aguilar kept pace with McKinney but a spin moved him back and gave the 72 car of Tyler Reed a shot at making his move around McKinney. Hughes and Miles, Jr. continued to battle for the lead when a spin by Miles, Jr. sent him to the rear of the field and moved Hughes to the front. More cautions packed the group tightly. Hughes was able to hang on to that first spot while Reed was in second and Miles, Jr. made an impressive run back up to the third spot getting by McKinney.

Wilson had the pole for the race start with Donnie Ackenbrack beside. Hughes and Tony Aguilar lined up behind them and Shawn Weber had the final position. Hughes made fast work of getting to Wilson to put the pressure on as Ackenbrack and Aguilar both ended the night with mechanical problems. Wilson and Hughes were side by side taking the white flag for the final lap. Wilson drove steady and maintained his lead as the checkered flag was thrown. Complete results are: 1) 15R, Richie Wilson 2) 8H, Tyler Hughes 3) 19, Shawn Weber 4) 70, Tony Aguilar 5) 91, Donnie Ackenbrack

Curt Miles, Jr was fast to take over the lead from pole sitter Shawn Weber as the TUSA’s battled for position behind them. Tyler Hughes grabbed the second spot from Weber to put pressure on Miles, Jr. Dylan Evans and Kirk Miles put on a show as Evans took over the third position. A spin by Hughes brought out a caution and regrouped the field for more close racing. More cautions kept the field together as Evans continued to stalk Miles Jr but there would be no passing as Miles Jr did not make any mistakes, allowing him to take the win, closely followed by Evans, Miles and Hughes. It was a wild and exciting race as the TUSA mod lites put on their show. Paul McGinley found himself behind Tyler Hughes for much of the race. The race began with heavy contact in the front as cars shuffled positions. Hughes took over the lead from Scott Tessman as cautions were plentiful. Curt Miles, Jr held on the the 3rd spot until he, McGinley and Mike Stratton were three wide along the front stretch and Stratton took the position. The final lap found Hughes leading McGinley, Stratton and Miles, Jr until Hughes got sideways and spun out giving McGinley the lead and win. Stratton and Miles Jr were a close 2nd and 3rd.
